10.01.2022 Hi everyone, What a VERY busy Summer we’ve had. Sorry to any of you out there who had to wait a bit for us to get there, sheesh....a bit of a mountain to climb some days. We’ve all just been doing our best. Thanks so much to Rob, Chris, Megan and Lucas for doing their best this summer.... Of late, other than struggling to get to everyone, I’ve been giving a lot of advice regarding AC’s, options with solar and how you can reduce your energy costs. Some great tips are to concentrate on your wall, floor and ceiling insulation, seal your doors and windows from draughts (see your ‘locally owned’ Hardware for the right draught stoppers), and be wise about your power usage. A lot of jobs we go to, are simply dirty filters. I recommend to always use an orange/citrus based spray, with a small bristled brush to clean them in the laundry sink. Get a torch and have a look at your drum fan.. if it’s ‘hairy’, don’t try and clean it, give us a call to do that, as many have busted their fans, thus, far exceeding the call out for us to do it. As we are coming into winter, be sure to wash down the outdoor unit fins with a garden hose sprayer, with a light brush first, and as I said, clean your filters and replace your remote control batteries. Why not include changing your smoke alarm batteries and testing it also! Thanks to everyone out there for being patient with us this Summer and also supporting your local businesses.
