14.01.2022 Just a quick update on uniforms and turnout ppe. The past many weeks I have been fighting with government red tape to have uniforms and turnout PPE released from the warehouse in Melbourne. Because we am not an authorised government agency, we are not entitled to this PPE due to COVID restrictions and there is no release date. We are also having problems getting helmets from Pacific for the same ridiculous reason/s. So until this gear is allowed to be released and shipped, we are stuck. The only other way we could do this is if a rural brigade would let us buy through them and then have the yellow jackets RFS logos changed to our own with badging and screen printing.
