23.01.2022 As part of their Digital Technology unit, 6W have been engaging with the Lego Mindstorm EV3 Robots. Their eventual task will be to design a program for the robot so that it moves an object from one place to another. Good luck year 6!

22.01.2022 Enrol now for Prep 2021! If your child was born between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016, they are eligible for Prep in 2021. Prep interviews commence at the beginning of Term 4 so if you haven’t enrolled your child, drop into our office this week and collect enrolment forms so we can book a time for your interview!

21.01.2022 Another song to showcase our beginner strings students. This item is called Carnival. It is wonderful to be able to share these items with our families even with the current COVID restrictions as they are not able to perform for audiences just yet.

16.01.2022 Virtual Book Fair - POST 1 of 2 Unfortunately due to current COVID restrictions only students and staff can attend book fair. Students can purchase books from Tuesday 17th through to Thursday 19th November (1st break and after school until 3:15pm only)! We have taken photos of the books with prices shown on the front cover as seen in photos in this post and second post. All classes have toured the book fair and should have wish lists for parents. If you require another wish ...list please contact the office. Please send money in an envelope with your child to purchase or alternatively you can purchase books online through the scholastic website (please see the school newsletter sent out on 3rd November for more information about purchasing online). Book photos will be spilt over two FB posts.

11.01.2022 SILVER COIN CHALLENGE! The challenge runs all of this week and next! Bring in your loose silver coins hanging around the house and help your class win a Pizza Party in Week 10! All funds raised goes towards P&C future projects and helping to keep the tuckshop in operation.

10.01.2022 Preps N & M have been spending time learning about Tiddilck the frog & all the animals they meet in the story. Students painted their animal masks using aboriginal colours and everyone enjoyed dancing whilst wearing them!

03.01.2022 Year 4 classes teamed up with the Rockhampton Regional Council to investigate the amount of recyclable rubbish there is at Berserker. They went searching through all the bins within the school to sort the items into their proper categories. A huge thank you to the RRC for leading this inquiry and educating our students about sustainability.

02.01.2022 REMINDER! Monday 5th October is a Public Holiday. School resumes on Tuesday 6th October.

02.01.2022 Year 6 participated in the RACQ program yesterday. They learned how to be safe on bikes and scooters, how to be a responsible and respectful passenger and how to be a safe pedestrian. A big thank you to the RACQ educators for coming in this week to teach our students!

Tuckshop will be offering a $7.50 meal deal that comes with: 1 cup of hot chips w/chicken salt 3 Nuggets 1 Tomato sauce sachet... 1 Popper juice 1 Cookie Orders and payment must be handed in by Tuesday 15th 9:30am. A note with an order form has been sent home. If you have any dietary restrictions please talk with our tuckshop convenor on any tuckshop open days.
