18.01.2022 Bum Balm is a specially formulated nappy rash balm created in house at Berwick Springs Pharmacy. Our balm includes key ingredients such as: - Zinc to act as a barrier to protect. - Aloe Vera to help hydrate and heal. - Tea Tree which acts as a natural anti septic.... - Oleic Acid which is a high potency fatty acid to improve the strength of the skin - Vitamin E to help heal and improve the quality of new skin cells. This means that it can be used as both a treatment for active nappy rash or irritation, but ALSO as a regular daily use barrier cream with each nappy change. As an added feature, the way we mix the balm makes it light, fluffy and extremely easy to apply and spread. Come in and get your free sample. Keep your eye out for our raffle in the next few days

10.01.2022 HEAD LICE (Super Lice) As you may have heard on the news, regular over the counter lice treatments are losing their effectiveness. Common bug killing chemicals (malathion, permethrin etc) seem to be getting less and less effective because head lice (cheeky little BUG-gers) are developing resistance to them. So what do we do?... If you cant kill them directly, we suffocate them! And luckily, the slippery little suckers cant build resistance to suffocation. Berwick Springs Pharmacy compound a Head Lice Lotion using an ingredient called BENZYL ALCOHOL, This is the best thing to suffocate those pesky lice. We also add in some Tea-Tree Essential oil to help kill them more effectively and also make the hair a bit harder to hang on to for them.
