21.01.2022 Julian's demonstration was very interesting. He used breadcrumbs for texture and combined water colours with gauche for highlights. It was a different approach and quite challenging.

20.01.2022 Ben Winspear's demonstration was enlightening. He used dark contrasts to bring out the focal point of his painting. The result was a beautiful glow of light highlighting the trees. A very successful demonstration.

19.01.2022 Last demo on the 28th Feb was by Robert Knight. He demonstrated in acrylics and had everyone mesmerised. It was great seeing the different techniques used as different to oils. Robert always teaches something new no matter what medium or subject he uses.

17.01.2022 Ben Winspear is the demonstrator for this month. He will be painting a landscape using oils. Ben is a prolific painter who runs workshops consistently. He has won many awards, his paintings are atmospheric. Demo is April 24th at the Old Cheese Factory at 7.10pm.

17.01.2022 Berwick Artists invite you to peruse our exhibition. We are very excited by the comments from those who have visited our exhibition. Many paintings have been sold.

17.01.2022 The first demonstration for 2020 will be on February 26th at 7.10pm in the function room at the Old Cheese Factory, Berwick. Our demonstrator will be Angelo Quabba, a well known Melbourne artist with many awards to his name. Angelo will be using oils to demonstrate. Please come along and make our first demo a roaring success. Members remember to bring along an artwork to participate in the Monthly competition.

15.01.2022 This week and the next Berwick Artist Society are holding an exhibition at Bunjil Place in the library first floor. It is open for viewing during library times. Most paintings are for sale. There are demonstrators showing their craft morning and afternoon whilst the exhibition is on. Come and have a look.

08.01.2022 Our exhibition in the library is going very well. We have now sold eight paintings. The exhibition is running until next Saturday so come along and have a look.

07.01.2022 This Wednesday Julian Buere will be the demonstrator for BAS. He is a well known water colourist who uses unusual techniques to effect and enhance the look of his artwork. Julian is also very personable and an excellent demonstrator. Come and join us at the Old Cheese Factory at 7.10pm for a great evening.

03.01.2022 This weeks demonstration is by Cathy Van Ee. Cathy will be demonstrating a portrait using oils. This should be a great night for those who love to paint portraits. A wonderful supper and chat about the displayed paintings are also features of our evening. All welcome at the Old Cheese Factory 7.10pm . Wednesday 22nd.

01.01.2022 So pleased to tell everyone that the first demonstration for 2021 will go ahead on Wednesday 24th February. Our demonstrator is Craig Penny who will use acrylics to paint a coastal scene. The demo will adhere to COVID regulations to make sur you bring along a mask to wear inside. Hope to see many come to support Craig. Venue is the Old Cheese Factory Function room. Members are $10 and non members $12. The demonstration commences at 7.30pm but please be there by 7.15pm.
