25.01.2022 We've started major works to remove the level crossing at Clyde Road, Berwick, and we're digging deep! Over 300 piles will be drilled into the ground, each up... to 29 metres deep, to support the new road underpass below the Pakenham line Complete next year, the project will give locals an improved road network, safer walking and cycling connections plus an upgraded bus interchange at Berwick Station Read more about what to expect during works bit.ly/Clyde-Road-major-works

04.01.2022 Hello Chamber Members & Friends For the past few months we have heard from many guest speakers sharing information for the benefit of our members at this diffic...ult time. You may have seen some publicity this week about Harry Hutchinson from Harry’s Menswear in Berwick, bravely, revealing his struggles with trying to keep his business going while not being allowed to trade. These very real and troubling experiences are being shared by so many at this time and it prompted our Chamber Committee to discuss the importance of connection and conversation with other business owners. That’s why this Friday’s Forum is dedicated to our Members to have their say. All information discussed on Friday will be treated with absolute confidentiality and can be whatever members need it to be a safe place to get it off your chest, a safe place to ask for suggestions or advice from others in similar situations, a forum to offer your support to others or a safe place to express yourself emotionally. It can also be a place where you offer your products or services to other members who may not be aware as to what your business provides. We hope to see you on Friday at 11am and if you need assistance connecting to Zoom please let us know. Please message and we will send you the link. See more

04.01.2022 Thought i would share this lovely letter from a client Hi Paul, MINI BBY 818. I thought that I should give you some feedback regarding the vehicle inspection conducted by Frank yesterday.... I have been impressed by the service offered by yourself and Frank. I am sure that it is not often that you receive a letter such as this, so I thought it was worthy of acknowledging the work, and follow up. A couple of times I had a need to speak to Frank who was always amenable, and co-operative. When I spoke to Nigel, who is the vendor, he stated how thorough Frank was in assessing the vehicle in the heat of the day. The vehicle inspection report was comprehensive in plain speaking terms, and the brief discussion with Frank completed my resolve to purchase the vehicle. I wish to thank you for your assistance in this matter Cheers, Kind Regards, Peter Houghton Director THE RYE HOTEL 2415 Point Nepean Road Rye, VIC 3941 Ph: 61 3 5985 2277 Fax: 61 3 5985 7710 Email: [email protected] Web: www.ryehotel.com.au
