22.01.2022 Old Boys Bush Fire Recovery Working Bee: Expressions of Interest We're all too aware of the devestation caused by the recent bushfires which have gripped much of Australia, leaving communities, wildlife and bushland devestated. The BGS Old Boys' Association is putting together an initiative to assist in the recovery efforts in the form of an East Gippsland working bee. If you're capable of cleaning, digging, using a rake, driving a trailer, or anything at all, you'd be an inc...redible help to this very important cause. The working bee will take place one Friday to Sunday between mid-March and early-April. Given the still unfolding nature of the situation no date has been confirmed as of yet, however the location will likely be around the Nowa Nowa area just east of Lakes Entrance. We will be guided by organisations in East Gippsland as to how and when our talents can best be used. We hope to have a date confirmed by the end of this month. 22.01.2022 BGS Old Boys' Golf Day Don't forget to register your interest ahead of this Sunday the 3rd of November's golf day at Pakenham Golf Club! In addition to an excellent day on the course with your fellow old boys we will have a variety of prizes up for grabs thanks to James Battye and the good people at Drummond Golf. From vouchers to balls to apparel, the prizes are just another reason to get around what's sure to be a great event this Sunday. ... 18.01.2022 Last week saw a group of old boys take to the course at Pakenham Golf Club for our first BGS Old Boys' Golf Day. Joined by current teachers Mark Dunstan and Andrew Lardner, as well as former staff member Tony Sheahan, it was a memorable day full of laughs and friendly competition.... We're certainly looking forward to our next round out on the course!

10.01.2022 2020 Old Boys' Footy Tipping Results In an AFL season like no other, the Old Boys rose to challenge for what was a fierce 2020 tipping competition. The top five finished as followed: 1. Mr Lardner - 106 ... 2. Will Battye - 103 3. Kristian Meade - 94 (ahead on margin) 4. Nathan Bourne - 94 5. Mike Battye - 86 Congratulations to our champion Dozer and all of this year's tippers, who demonstrated exceptional skills despite the unprecedented circumstances. We look forward to coming back bigger and better in 2021.
