25.01.2022 Sadly, we have decided to close the library to the public today (Tuesday 24th March) at 1.30pm. There will continue to be staff onsite to accept returns from 9.30 - 12.30 on Weekdays. We can be contacted during those times on 9707 3519. Stay well everyone!

24.01.2022 We are currently closed under Stage 4 lockdown rules but hoping to re-open on Thursday 18th February (all being well!)

23.01.2022 We hope everyone has enough to read while we're all staying home. We are no longer accepting book returns at the library. Please keep your items safe until we re-open.

20.01.2022 Under the Covid restrictions, we will be closed from 5pm on the 27th May 2021

19.01.2022 We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the library from 9.30am on Friday 11th June.

17.01.2022 We will be open again tomorrow (Thursday 18th Feb) at 9.30am.

05.01.2022 Good news! Berwick library will be re-opening this Monday (1st June). We're planning to operate our normal hours but there will be restrictions as we comply with regulations. These include distancing and sanitising, 20 borrowers in the library at a time (which may mean queuing outside and shorter visits for everyone) and quarantining of returns. Our volunteers are all looking forwarding to getting back to libraryland. We hope you are too.

02.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 situation, we have suspended storytime sessions and will be reducing our library opening hours from next Monday 23rd March for the foreseeable future. We will be open from 9.30 - 1.30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Closed on Saturday. Borrowing conditions have been relaxed and no overdue fines will apply. We ask that all visitors practice hand hygiene and social distancing in the library and to please STAY AWAY if unwell. We can be contacted on 9707 3519.
