21.01.2022 Looking forward to the final round of the QRC at Nanago and Manumbar this weekend (22 Sept). Game on with everyone in the top 5 of the QRC in with a chance. Should be a great day thanks to BSCC and all the officials.

19.01.2022 Thanks to BSCC for a great event at Benarkin and nailing all the extra event requirements to keep everyone, and the sport, safe. It was an exciting finish and nice to have a win after such a long break. Thanks to KCF and all the officials who we were too socially distanced from to thank personally.

18.01.2022 Thanks to SWC Photography for more great pics, this time at Imbil; for the second round of the QRC. Quite a privilege to be out there in the forests after a another long break. Congratulations to Glenn Brinkman and Steve Richardson on a great win. Thank you to Mal Bartolo and the BSCC team for their huge organisational effort, navigating countless challenges, and also securing a great new rally base. We had plenty of drama to contend with, including no intercom for the first stages. Thanks to Glenn for the loan of his spare Stilo helmet - that says a lot about him and our sport. At least Ian and I could then talk to each other about the driveshaft failure on the next stage! Great job by Glenn, Jamie, Rod and Tyler to get us back in the game. Hey, we enjoyed the last two stages trouble free :)

16.01.2022 Congratulations and thank to Brisbane Sporting Car Club for a fantastic first round of the QRC at Imbil. Superbly well organised with all the challenges that COVID presents being handled very efficiently. Well done to the whole team at BSCC, particularly for assembling one of the strongest fields seen in the QRC for a few years. The service park was a sight to see and showed Queensland rallying is alive and well despite everyone's challenges. It was a demanding event and comm...iserations to the several front running crews that had to retire. A nasty grid tried to take out our sump shield, but otherwise fortunately no dramas with the Evo 9, which was at its best on some nice fresh Pirellis. The results are provisional, but it looks like a nice win with quickest time on almost every stage. Thanks to our service crew for doing a great job and thanks also to Melinda Bergman for taking the time at her well organised start control to highlight the benefits of launch control working well. 14.01.2022 QRC 5 Benarkin - thanks to BSCC for organising a great event and thanks to our service crew for doing the usual great job. Sorry the cam angle sensor let us all down. 21 seconds up and heading into the two night stages it was looking good. Ah well. Congratulations to Wayne and Megan, who held it all together under difficult circumstances.

14.01.2022 Congratulations Brisbane Sporting Car Club for a big effort to get rallying back underway in SEQ. No spectators but it will be good to be in competition again, and four 'rooster tails' in the right direction.

13.01.2022 We're back! After Ian being injured mountain biking, Imbil will be our first rally all year. Time to see if everything still works! It's a great entry for the last QRC round, particularly with Ryan and Jack shaking down for the Alpine. Spectating should be worth it just for those two. See you in the forest.

02.01.2022 QRC 3 Imbil: Thanks to the Gold Coast Tweed Motorsport Club for a great event (at least what we saw of it!) and thanks to our service crew for being there and ready for action. Sorry to all that our day came to a premature end; we were as surprised as everyone ! It's a reminder to expect the unexpected in a rally. Thanks also to everyone who came to check on us; the pride is dented like the panels, but otherwise all is good. We'll be back in action at Benarkin. In the meantime congratulations to Ryan Smart /Hugh Reardon-Smith and Wayne Morton/Megan Benson for great performances. Impressive win for a 2WD Ryan.
