11.01.2022 Most joinery companies make windows from either cedar or if they are to be painted, meranti. We are now getting interest in and are focusing our efforts on our Standard range made from a lightly treated, perfectly straight engineered timber, essentially LOSP. Because our supplier can provide our materials in the dimensions we require the majority of the costs associated with machining the timber has been negated. We simply pass the cost saving onto the client.... Consequently, we can offer awning casement and standard side hung casement windows in either single or double glazed at a cost comparable to equivalent aluminium windows. The Standard range comes pre primed to protect against the elements during the construction process and ready for top coat. 05.01.2022 So I had to remove two mdf panels and replace with two fixed panel windows between a basement wc and a wine cellar. Took the panels down and the ceiling started to collapse, someone had played the old structural mdf trick.
