Featuring a striking grey vein set against its soft milky white backdrop and subtle honey gold vein, it is easy to see why it is as popular as ever, especially with architects and interior designers.... Although ongoing maintenance is required with any natural stone, this is a versatile material and is suitable for many applications including countertops, but also on walls and floors in just about any room, and comes in different formats such as tiles or slabs. 10.01.2022 As a business, there are very few things that are as satisfying as seeing a project evolve from a concept through to delivery. This Tuscany inspired shop fitout was highly detailed and consisted of new materials with a warm palette ranging from hardwood timber to stainless steel, and retained some of the building’s original characteristics such as the face brickwork and cross bracing of the floor joists. It was an absolute joy to be involved in this project.

07.01.2022 Flatiron Building in Manhattan, New York City. This building has been called one of the world’s most iconic skyscrapers and a quintessential symbol of New York City, and when you are standing in front of it, you can see why. It is a triangular 22 storey, steel framed building standing 87m tall and derives its name from its resemblance to a cast-iron clothes iron. Personally, I love it and I think it’s a wonderful piece of architecture. . Do you love it or hate it? In any case, it’s a landmark building. #design #architecture #building
