22.01.2022 EFAs Our bodies don't produce essential fatty acids (omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9) naturally. But we need them for good health, so we have to get them via our diet. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) are linked to everything from healthy hearts and joints to brain development and of course - healthy skin.... As we age our sebum glands produce less oil, which means our skin is drier, duller and more prone to flaking and irritation. The top layer of our skin is made up partly of essential fats, which create a waterproof barrier that seals in moisture to keep skin lubricated and protected against harmful bacteria. EFAs are also anti-inflammatory, so they help calm and soothe skin conditions like rosacea, psoriasis, acne, eczema and many more. They keep cell walls in the skin supple enough to allow toxins out, but let nutrients in plus they offer some protection against damaging UV rays, although not enough to replace SPF. Omega-3s and omega-6s stimulate collagen production to keep skin plump and firm, but most people don't get enough EFAs via their diet, that's why we have to supplement.

06.01.2022 Yes that's right Bespoke is back! Unfortunately we do have restrictions, a mask is to be worn by the therapist and client at all times, so for now we can not do any facial treatments or any waxing on the lower face. But on the upside we can wax everything else and tint, etc. Bespoke has a covid safe & protocol in place for the safety of our clients and ourselves....
