25.01.2022 Who says it is winter in Europe? We have taken a side-trip from Bessenay to Marbella Beach in Spain. It is a two hour flight from Lyon and we woke to this!

22.01.2022 St-Etienne used to be a coal mining city. Today it is a UNESCO city for design. One thing we noticed about it is that it is really clean- both the buildings and the streets- far from what it used to be with the coal!

13.01.2022 We have taken a couple of day trips from Marbella. One to the Alhambra in Granada. Truly amazing and to think it fell into total disrepair at one point in recent history! Now it has 6000 to 8000 visitors per day.

08.01.2022 Another stop on the way back by the Meditteranean near one of our favorite places St Thibery. A stop off in Roquefort and across the Millau Bridge with photos through the roof of the car.

07.01.2022 Wherever you look Fouviere is always overlooking the beautiful city of Lyon. Investigated the area around the opera and Hôtel de Ville stopping for lunch at a bouchon.

04.01.2022 We have just come back from a road trip to the Cote DAzur. What a beautiful time of the year to go. The sun was shining for the whole seven days and the skies were cloudless. The drive is about four hours. We stayed in Cannes at the Citadine apartments.

03.01.2022 Visited Nimes and Arles from St Remy de Provence. Amazing example of Roman knowledge and architecture.
