18.01.2022 A bee-utiful sunny weekend here Lots of bees out and about on the flowers and the fruit blossom flowers. Excited to be finally seeing spring after a very long winter. I’ve planted out lots of veggie seeds this year. I always plant some but im pretty impatient when it comes to plants and I love the instant pleasure of seedlings But thanks to lockdown I think my whole veggie garden will be seeds this year, so I’m excited for that challenge. Up to the next size pot goes some zucchini’s and a variety of tomatoes called Santorini, which I’ve not grown before. #bessiecreekfarm #bees #veggies #backyardgarden

05.01.2022 I’ve made a start on preserving the last of the Granny Smith apples This is what 15kg looks like! 8 jars of diced, 6 jars of purée and 4 jars of apple jam. Not sure how much to go? But I can see the bottom of the first 60litre bucket! But I’m done for today! Now to clean up!
