25.01.2022 Bike riding using the Bunyas as a base is more than riding along the scarily narrow mountain roads. These great open, quiet roads are all over the country around the base of the Bunyas. F Fabulous scenery.

21.01.2022 One of the delights at SKY is the family of Blue Wrens which hang around the driveway and back door just doing their thing. No bird seed required for this show.
20.01.2022 The office just ran a post on great decks. They didn't include ECOS deck. We think it's a terrific, protected (covered with insulating polypanel) deck with a great outlook into tree tops and a view through to the Downs (lights of Dalby at night).
17.01.2022 Great news. We have been monitoring water at our houses due to the loooong period of dry weather. We have been carrying our own water up to Ecos and Ecos Studio when we have a window with cleaning. Bore water is available from commercial carriers but this water is very hard and fouls shower screens for months.

13.01.2022 Our deck at SKY shows signs of a sulpur crested cockatoo feeling bored: chewed off quite a chunk. At ECOS wgile cleaning we watced another trying to remove seals from the glass sliders.

10.01.2022 Latest update is for a completion date late 2021. Ecos, Ecos Studio and Sky will be some of the closest houses to one of the several trail heads. Russell Park adjoins the Ecos properties and one of the proposed trail outlets so no need to drive to the trail.
09.01.2022 Definitely. A group has moved very close to the houses. We see some young ones hanging out on the road untroubled by cars. We have heard a pack howling around midday close to Ecos Studio a few times in the last week. Lots of wallabies and the way some people drive, an endless supply of raod kill

05.01.2022 Spring at the Bunyas after some rain. The Pattersons Curse is doing well and full of butterflies. This keeps the new crop of magpies fed. Blue skies.
04.01.2022 Chuffed to read at Ecos Studio when we last cleaned ( we clean our own houses) a glowing plug for the"superb" dvd collection. Over all the years 2 guests only have failed to discover the dvd collection housed at the bedhead in a clever (Ikea design) pull-out shelving system. They complained at the office that the online description was inaccurate because they could fing no dvds. Hmmmmmm. We do enjoy scrounging/curating dvds on sale and various outlets. We aim to collect all Coen Bros titles . Kids are catered for also. PS This shot shows the shelving closed.
