25.01.2022 Training tip for treats for dogs with dietary requirements: You can make special diet kibble super exciting to your pup by infusing it with cheese or cooked bacon. Simply place the pieces of cheese/bacon in a cup of kibble overnight in the fridge (then take the extras out) to make a motivating reward for training behaviours or food puzzles.

16.01.2022 While dogs are not humans, they do possess an emotional system very similar to our own. Make sure to fill your cup and your dog’s today!!
13.01.2022 Who me?! Reinforce eye contact with your dog by giving immediate feedback when they look at you. Say Good dog! Or give them an unexpected treat.
13.01.2022 Teaching Give (to give up the item) is so important to reduce resource guarding and avoid a relentless game of chase. The key is to train your dog to give up the item voluntarily for a food reward so you can give the item back, gaining your dog’s trust. Stage this with long-lasting chews, food stuffed KONGs or toys. 10 week old Dougal did this extremely well.

09.01.2022 Hello all my lovely followers. I would love your help to review my business on google. Click the link below and let the world know what you think. I'll be fur-ever grateful!
08.01.2022 Puppies and dogs alike need adequate mental stimulation (or enrichment) so they don’t develop unwanted behaviours, like chewing, digging, barking, jumping up, pacing, chasing birds, and becoming ball obsessed. One way to provide good mental stimulation is to have your dog work for their food. Use food puzzles, KONGs, training sessions, food hunts, and recall games. Jamie Fraser’s owner is planning a good enrichment program to provide this active minded border collie the stimulation he needs.
07.01.2022 Biting (aka puppy mouthing) can be full on! Try to identify when your puppy is becoming overly aroused emotionally and stop the activity before it goes past the point of no return. If play has gone too far and you are now faced with a shark- place them in a secure time out location WITH a long lasting food chew. A food-stuffed KONG is best! Chewing, sucking, and licking help to relieve emotional pressure and train the brain to calm down.
07.01.2022 Beautiful boy Bear. He’s learning to walk on a loose-lead and coming along so well. No need for aversive equipment, just calm, consistent and clear training methods. Well done to his owner whose put in all the effort.
06.01.2022 How much are these 2 having??!! So sweet to watch!
05.01.2022 Belly rub please??! It’s so very polite when a pup sits for a pat, but it was super cute when Mika asked for a belly rub instead.
05.01.2022 International Day of the Dog Share a pic of your furry friend. Also bring awareness to the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year, either from public shelters, rescues and pure breed rescues. This beautiful 1yo Boxer was rescued by a loving couple who are putting so much effort into settling him into his new home.
05.01.2022 Pickle the Puppy has been learning new behaviours using clicker training with positive reinforcement. This style of training really helps her to learn more quickly and develop creativity.
03.01.2022 Have a paws-itively amazing Christmas
02.01.2022 Stormy the little cardigan corgi learning the joys of the KONG. A food stuffed KONG is an extremely useful tool. It works to promote settling as your dog is instantly and continually rewarded for engaging with the KONG. Start with something easy like loose kibble and then increase the difficulty in excavating the KONG. Not only will it provide years of enrichment for your dog, but reduces destructive behaviours. It’s a win-win for you and your dog!
