25.01.2022 Pippa and Coco during their groom today. Don't worry they were safe as I was right next to them. Just had to to take the photo. Pippa at the front is saying can you please tell Coco I know she is sticking her tongue out at me.. These 2 always give me cuddles. Merry Christmas to them and their humans .

22.01.2022 As we are now entering the busier time of the year. The following will apply. Last minute cancelations because of getting in with another company sooner and or other reasons really effect my small business. Being presented with a severly matted dog takes more time and blunts blades which are not cheap to resharpen or replace. Effective immediately Any new bookings for multiple dogs will be charged a booking fee of half the cost of the total booking. This will be charged vi...a eftpos at the time the booking is placed. A receipt will be provided. This fee will come off the groom fee on the booked day. If booking is cancelled without 48 hours notice to the booking date this fee is non refundable. Should I have an emergency I will offer the soonest replacement date which if not acceptable a refund of the booking fee. A matting fee of $20 per dog will apply for badly matted coats. I understand some may not want to do the above and that's fine . You are very welcome to book with another groomer. I am doing this to protect my business from losing revenue it can't afford. After going through this last year I'm taking these steps to ensure my business is not effected adversely. Also please be sure to get in touch via sms or when I visit for your next groom to book your dogs in for the rest of the year. Otherwise you may be disappointed. Keep safe . See more

19.01.2022 Just want say. Get your dog groomed on a regular basis. Treat them for parasites. Brush and comb them. Give them the cuddles they deserve. DONT BE the owner that reduces your groomer to tears as they shave a coat off that is so matted your dog can barely move. Revealing sores,fleas, cancers, bruising from the matting constricting blood flow to the skin. Clipping nails that have grown back into the poor dogs feet. Cleaning ears so infected that the dog is in pain. Removing s...tinking fur from it's pus filled mouth filled with rotton teeth. Cleaning feaces from it's bottom that is so bad the dog cannot go to the toilet. If you think as a groomer we just groom perfect dogs then your mistaken. So don't just don't be that owner that gives every excuse under the sun as to why their so called loved pet is such a state. Don't bother because if I come and your dog is in this condition I will not hesitate to report you for failing to care for your pet. I will also tell you exactly what I think of you. 14.01.2022 So very sad. Just been advised my longest term client Dexter took on a 1.5m red belly black snake today. Sadly he was bitten and has passed . I shall so miss him and his best mate Clifford will be lost without his partner in crime. It was a joy to groom him and share cuddles. So sad .
14.01.2022 Do you vaccinate your pet? Every year? The info below can be helpful. There is a test your vet can do that may your pet doesn't need a vaccine this year . Pets like humans can build up enough antibodies from their previous vaccines to last longer than 1 year.

11.01.2022 Heading into the busy season seems like a good time to mention a couple of things. If I groom your dog as requested I am entitled to be paid in full for the groom. Not part paid then refused full payment afterwards. This is theft of services and is a prosecutable offence. Also I send a reminder the day before the booking which clearly states please advise you still want your booking. If you do not respond your booking will be cancelled.... It is a courtesy to send this and I lose earnings when no response is sent back . I'm a small business. I'm not a magician I don't have a crystal ball to check if your home if you have not confirmed your booking. I also don't have a majic wand. If your dog is matted I will not hurt your dog trying to remove matts so a fluffy clip can be done. I will do the best clip I Can depending on the condition you give me your dog in. I'm not being rude by writing this I'm just tired of losing takings through no fault of my own. 99% of my clients would never do any of the above and I love them for being such loyal clients. I remember being able to get up without making sound effects. 8. I had my patience tested. I'm negative. 9. Remember, if you lose a sock in the dryer, it comes back as a Tupperware lid that doesn't fit any of your containers. 10. 06.01.2022 A reminder to all existing and new clients. Cancelling bookings the day before or on the day of the your booking is only fine if you have an emergency. As a small business cancelations really effect me. If this increases I will be charging a booking fee if 50% of the groom which will be non refundable if the booking is cancelled the day before or on the day. It is the only way i can see of protecting my small business. I get it we all have emergencies even I. That said when... you know you have a booking and decide to leave it for a few weeks longer or sorry I forgot is not a valid reason. Other people dogs are desperate to get a booking but have been advised I can't fit them in miss out and I don't earn a living. So please take this into consideration. Support your small business . 05.01.2022 Brushing only does not keep your dogs coat Matt free. This video shows what lurks beneath. Please brush then comb. This coat was taken short as Dematting on this scale is to painful for the dog. I will not hurt a dog just for a cute fluffy furstyle.

Before pictures of when he was rescued and how lovely he has become since . the owner who now due to covid losing her job has to return to new Zealand. No harsh comments please.
