We have been campaigning for protection of the purchaser and homeowner for som...e years, as since 2009 the industry was deregulated by NSW Fair Trading and anyone can call themselves a building inspector with no qualifications, no experience, and no knowledge of the industry. This is yet another response that shows not the incompetence by NSW Fair Trading and the Minister for better regulation but the outright lack of concern and complete disregard. This means the homeowner should do their own due diligence on the inspection and ask for proof of experience, qualifications and proven ability.
