12.01.2022 They say you need to ‘market’ yourself to employers, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. This is where BEST Employment can assist. Andrew, like many others with Aspergers, is very quiet and can take a while to warm up to new people. So he teamed up with our Stanthorpe Disability Employment Services team to connect with employers. Using Andrew’s skills and knowledge of working on the family acreage, and his attention to detail on Work Health and Safety, BEST Employment was able to reverse market Andrew to a local council. Since starting, BEST has helped Andrew upskill and obtain several licenses which has lead to securing a 6 month extension to his contract, and one step closer to a permanent position. Well done Andrew and our Stanthorpe team. We look forward to watching your career grow.
