18.01.2022 I was putting my bikini top on today and leaning back as I reached behind me to tighten the clasp. I happen to be standing in front of this mirror while doing this and I noticed my bulge where my abdominal separation is. I was surprised to see it bulging so much (though it was hard to catch on camera, you can see the bulge just above my belly button). . . I quickly switched my Transverse Abdominis on and straight away the bulge got sucked in and disappeared. I immediately fe...lt more supported and I looked way better too! - Bonus! . . Its such good visible proof about how effective and important the Transverse Abdominis muscle is. It is the main stabiliser for your lower back and core. It is imperative that we, and especially us Mums, know how to activate it and that we are conscious about activating it not only during exercise but all throughout the day. . . If youre unsure about whether you are activating your Transverse or if you are using it effectively then contact me because I can help you find it, strengthen it and switch it on with no effort at all. 17.01.2022 I am such a better mum on the days that I train. . I am calm, I have way more patience, I dont get as overwhelmed with everything that needs to get done, I cope better with stress, I am happier, in a way better mood, Im a nicer person, I feel more confident and I feel like I can get shit done! . I feel all of this for the rest of the day after Ive trained and I certainly notice all these amazing feelings dissipate if I go a few days without exercising. ... . Its like coffee.. you feel amazing once youve had it but unfortunately the feeling doesnt last :( . Many of my clients come to me with long term goals of weight loss or strength gains and theyre great and you need them. However, I keep asking them to notice how they feel for the rest of the day after theyve trained because I feel this is where the biggest reward of exercise can be felt and its immediate! Their answers almost always comes back that they feel better about life, feel more positive, able to cope better with work and family stresses. . 16.01.2022 In my pursuit to live my best life Ive decided to dive back into a pre-kids love of mine... trekking in the wilderness! And because Im me and I always act before I think Ive decided to go big and organise a full pack carry 6 day trek in the stunning Northern Territory! This is big for me because a) Im not trek fit at all right now! And b) Ive never left my kids for a day let along 6 days! Anyway.. I think its always to do things that are a bit scary and take time to be ...me again so here we go!! . And...because its always more fun to share experiences, I was wondering... . We were a bit hesitant at first because Thursday last week was 40degrees and fires were popping up again in the area but decided to anyway and as you can see its definitely open for business and is still an epically beautiful place to spend time with your favourite people! We did see a fair bit of fire affected bush ...land which was pretty sad to see especially when we found out that this particular fire was deliberately lit. This year, on the 27th of March, Best Life Fitness has 3 teams walking in the Wild Women on Top Sydney Coastrek. . Two teams of amazing women including @luminate_life, @laurenbeth_photographica, @ronit_shaki @alisondaemi and Judy Kaye just to name a few taking will be charging into the the 30km event and one team of coaches @abihomer, @afernfitness, myself and one inspirational member @icecubebergs takin part in the 60km event! .
