25.01.2022 Super groovy night last night mixing (and judging) the Northern Composure band comp at Glen Street Theatre. All the bands were amazing and it was extremely hard to pick between them. But, someone has to win. Honors went to Speaking Of Which. Second place was Edgecliff and third place was Joker In The Pack.... The real big winner on the night though was live music. After being trapped underground for the last six months, it was so awesome to be in an environment that has that energy. It's easy to forget how much impact there is from being in a room with a live band and an audience. We've been robbed of it for so long now that you start to believe you can just live without it. Trust me, you can't. Watching it on Netflix will never be the same as being there.

23.01.2022 I love musical theatre.

23.01.2022 Pumped to be mixing at the Northern Composure Audience Choice Final tonight at Glen Street Theatre. It just struck me that I have now been doing this since before the oldest participant allowed in the competition was born! Still loving it.

23.01.2022 Great night last night at the Glen Street Theatre mixing the sound for the Northern Composure Audience Choice Band Competition. Probably one of the nicest places I've ever had the pleasure of mixing in. (certainly one of the cleanest!) Big shout out to Glen Street techs, Dan and Damien. Those guys were the nicest and most helpful crew I've ever worked with. Also to Adam Pecar for his help manning the recording console. The bands: Butterbox, The Rions and The Daturas all... put on a great performance. Big thanks to Northern Beaches Council and Kalof for making all this happen. So nice to be involved in live music again!!
