25.01.2022 Feeling Stiff and Old? With training we often get so focused on pushing harder, doing more, going faster etc that we ignore the fact that we feel sore, stiff and ache a little more than we should? So why not incorporate some movements into your training that will have you moving better and feeling better? ... I go over two great and simple options in the video. There is no point being fit and strong if youre always stiff and sore.

But the basics like Pushups and Squats are still great builders of the body and will strip fat off you FAST...... All you need to do is find a variation that challenges you.. Even Something as simple as SLOWING the movement down can turn it into a strength and Muscle building movement.

24.01.2022 Lunch Ideas Do you struggle with ideas for what to take fir lunch? Its pretty common as we jump out of bed make our breakfast and run out the door.... Some people find the basic push-up tough, whilst others do them comfortably but never work to progress them. Often thinking they are "too easy" to make GAINZ with?? ... Its so simple and eloquent in its message that i just had to share it with you all. Everything grows and develops from the inside out. 22.01.2022 Monday Mentoring. Your performance can be viewed as a glass of water. How this works is you look at yourself completely rested and feeling great and your cup is full! Every time you exercise or put your body under stress your level drops!... Now the way to top this back up is rest, recovery, mobility, sleep, nutrition and play! If you want to be at the top of your game as often as possible then you need to take your recovery methods as seriously as your training! You always want your glass as full as possible!

21.01.2022 Fat Loss Friday HUNGER... When we want to lose fat, we are going to have to deal with being hungry from time to time. ... If we just eat whenever we FEEL hungry quite often we are going to eat too much. So the best idea if to PLAN for being hungry and LET YOURSELF be hungry for short periods. Start simple. 30-40mins.. Maybe the hunger passes? Maybe you arent actually hungry? Learn to let your body tap into its fat stores.

17.01.2022 Simple Training, Awesome Results In the search for Fat Loss, Muscle Gain and overall performance we often get distracted by the fancy things we see promoted everywhere. In Reality though there are a handful of things we should be doing consistently and committing every ounce of our energy into. Simple Training, Awesome Results (STAR) is often overlooked as many people want to be entertained in the gym with random acts of variety?... 09.01.2022 Build Better Habits Replacing habits its much easier than stopping them. So instead of cutting things out try to ADD something in its place. For example have a better snack prepared for that 2pm Snackcident that usually ends up being biscuits or cake. Prep some vegetables and fruit with some home made dip to grab instead. ... We dont like to "not do" things so instead Do something else

Under a table, between two chairs with a broom stick, at the playground (open again now ) or with rings or TRX.. Great for building strength and muscle in the back and biceps, as well as hitting the core and forearms.. ... Plus a great way to work towards strong pull-ups.

02.01.2022 To make progress we need to make sacrifices along the way and quite often this means doing many things over and over again. We go to the gym, we squat, press, pull, push, sweat and often we get sore. Then we eat, focusing on clean eating, foods that fill us up but often avoiding the pleasurable foods we really desire. We Do ths until our goal is achieved..... So we may as well find ways to LOVE the repetition. Have fun doing these things. Training can be exciting and fun... especially with a strong community around us pushing us. That ache in the muscles is often a sign we are wroking te right muscles... We come to love that feeeling and work WITH IT... Its not work if youre having fun doing it... Thats our Goal here at Be Strong Training... Be The Best Hour Of Your Day..

01.01.2022 Lessons Learnt, Often the Hard way If you chase to rabbits, youre going home Hungry! @CoachDanJohn1 taught me this little proverb years ago and it resonates even more as years go by. In the modern era of fitness the promise is always something like this:-... More muscle, less fat, eat whatever you want and all in only 15min a day..... BUY THIS PROGRAM NOW... However when the rubber hits the road we need to pick ONE Rabbit and go after it.... Then go after another Rabbit.. Training for everything all at once leads to not really excelling at any of them. So if fat loss is your goal you focus on the food you eat and doing enough exercise to both maintain muscle (weights) and burn fat (Conditioning) If youre already lean then your focus might be on getting stronger for your sport? Then you work on basic strength training and mobilty work. Things that will carry over to the field.. If youre a mum chasing after kids all day you probably want to feell energised, strong and mobile to keep up with them and still enjoy dinner with the hubby without feeling like every day is wearing you down? Your Goal is Your RABBIT.... Chase it Hard... Catch it... Move on.
