It is this time of year when we sadly see possums become victims of burns and smoke inhalation due to their ‘chimney home’ suddenly become utilised. As you start to look at getting your fireplace ready for these cooler months, please have a good look with a torch to ensure there aren’t any possums in there that have made your chimney their safe haven Also consider placing a possum box or two on your property to give your precious possums a safe place of their own to call home

07.01.2022 Cold? Did anyone say they like the cold? Snow did anyone say they like the snow And a great evening to everyone as I've been speaking about this cold blast ab...out the 22nd of June for a few days now it's pretty well much locked in with all models virtually online with this cold blast now there is some disagreeance and the disagreeance is how far and effective this cold pool will affect South East Queensland some models have this cold.blast brutally cold while others having it cold some models have snow reach in Queensland other models have snow reaching northern New South Wales so this is what we do know we do know this is going to be cold regardless we know it's going to start could as early as Sunday it's going to come down the timing and it will go for about two to three days we know there's moisture around so snow won't be a problem for northern New South Wales so anyone wants to see some snow Guyra is the best place at this stage For Queensland snow the chance is there but don't hold your breath we will continue to watch the models over the next couple of days and see if this firms up or not So guys get your winter gear out before Sunday because it's going to be cold Dave

02.01.2022 Pizza ovens | Camp ovens | Smokers We only stock 100% clean burning, dry and aged ironbark. Our timber is perfect for slow cooking on the fire, camp ovens, wood fired pizzas and smokers. Given our aged ironbark is the best of the best for both heat and flavour! Currently we are stocking up on pizza wood (double split) for all you pizza oven enthusiasts which is available now! ... Now that we are coming into the warmer months, we have the capacity to do the below: 1/2 cubic metre pickups of normal timer 1/2 cubic metre pickups of double split/pizza wood As well as our usual 1 cubic metre pickups and deliveries.
