08.01.2022 Last month, Bethanie Gwelup had the honour of recreating the wedding day of one of our residents daughters. Diana, who has also been a volunteer with Bethanie, was excited to have her mother with her on her wedding day, until the plans had to change when COVID-19 hit. Diana wanted her mother, as well as the other residents, to feel as though they were part the ceremony. So, with the help of the friendly staff at Gwelup, they were able to recreate the day. Diana and her new husband David were remarried by the same celebrant in a special ceremony held in the dining room. All of the residents dressed in their finest for the occasion and joined in the reception afterwards. #Bethanie #community
08.01.2022 The residents at Bethanie Waters have been very busy raising five baby ducklings that hatched at the facility three weeks ago. All five of the ducklings have now been adopted by loving homes from the Bethanie staff and volunteer community. Much to our residents' delight, Chirpys new owners have promised regular visits in the future.
