25.01.2022 Meet our founder and principal GP, Dr Romany Soliman! Dr Soliman has been practicing in the Sutherland Shire for the past three years, and is delighted to be opening his practice in the heart of Engadine. Prior to settling in the Shire, Dr Soliman spent 18 adventurous years practicing in a range of challenging environments. With a CV spanning 4 countries, the breadth of his experience is matched only by his passion for building strong, long term relationships with his patien...ts. Whether single handedly running a HIV clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa or a good old fashioned country practice in Rural Australia, Dr Soliman has always been known for his thorough clinical care and his listening ear. He loves being a GP and the opportunity it affords to care holistically for patients over many years. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and has a special interest in mental health and chronic disease management. Away from work, Romany enjoys being with his family and loves any excuse for a wrestle with his two boys. He’s always dreaming up his next travel adventure, and loves a good coffee!

17.01.2022 Meet our wonderful nurse, Katherine Whitelaw! Katherine has extensive knowledge and experience of over 20 years. Starting as a disability support worker, AIN, EEN, she then completed her Bachelor of Nursing (RN). She brings with her experience in community nursing, mental health, and justice health, and has a strong passion for nursing and providing quality health care to people from all socio-economic backgrounds. ... Katherine says "I am a person who believes in what I do and the difference I am making to the people I am working with. I am a mother of two beautiful girls, and a shire local resident. I have a new found interest in gardening and growing fruits/ vegetables. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and going to the beach. I am proud and excited to be a part of this new chapter for Bethany." We are so grateful to have Katherine on the team, and know you will love her as much as we do.
