01.01.2022 Looking to host Ashley from Glassfusing to come up in a few weeks to do a one day build-your-own-kiln course. This is a great way to get into fusing inexpensively and get the knowledge you need to maintain a kiln. The kiln you would be building to take home takes a 400mm square shelf and has a top opening lid. It uses the same controller I have on my small desk kiln so anyone who has done fusing courses with me will know how easy it is to operate and program. Cost will be around $1750 plus transport but a similarly sized kiln would cost you $3-4k if you bought it pre-built.
