25.01.2022 I ordered some new backdrops which just arrived. It looks like I didn't read the fine print that probably said 'the floorboards get bigger as you order bigger size backdrops' Sophia looks like Thumbelina in most of the photos Tell me I'm not the only one who failed with online shopping orders!?!?!

24.01.2022 Today I'm ordering canvases for a very beautiful family I photographed in September last year. It's such an amazing feeling to know 4 portraits will be on display in their home. And I love that they asked me to order them. It means that I can ensure each image is absolutely perfect before it's blown up and hung on the wall. The smallest things that you cannot see in a 6x4 print may be the most eye catching (probably not but it would be for me ). This is Charlotte, she was ...eating a biscuits when I captured this photo. Probably not noticeable, but zoom in. Do you see the crumbs around her month? I think they would catch your eye in a large canvas. So I've removed them, along with the white dot of light in her hair. Each canvas that I print for my families, I spend the time to zoom in and remove anything that could cause the eye to move from the subject to the distraction. 12.01.2022 Happy Valentine's Day My husband and I stopped celebrating Valentine's Day long ago, while dating. Funny story of miscommunication...we'd decided to catch up but as he didn't give anything away, I didn't think anything 'special' was planned. I decided to work late and when I called to let him know, he asked for me to call back when I was finishing. I finished and drove over to his house. He wasn't there, he was waiting for me at my office. A quick dash back to the office me...ant we were late to dinner. We had to order and eat so fast so we weren't late for the massages he had booked. It was all too stressful to really feel relaxing and enjoyable. So we agreed not to do it again. Perhaps if he just booked in a portrait session with a photographer none of that would have happened This morning he did suprise me with some red roses Have you celebrated today?
