18.01.2022 Bethel Basketball Specialist Teams are in Perth competing in the District High Countryweek competition. We have had a fantastic day. Well Done to Will and Eh Bar Lay who had leading roles in the opening ceremony both doing a wonderful job. Both the boys and girls team had solid wins all day, with the last girls game being a draw. As Principal I was so blessed to be a part of a most amazing team meeting tonight where some of the players comments, encouragement, insights from the day and things they have learnt and going to apply just made me so proud. The character of this group is amazing. Well done Bethel! The hard work and commitment of the specialist program shone through today.

17.01.2022 District High 2020 - Day 2. The Basketball specialist students worked extremely hard today ending up with wins all day (I'll collect scores and post tomorrow). The Boys team had a fierce dual with Gingin which kept the crowd very entertained. Asher is doing a wonderful job as our school photographer and Corline with scoring. After an epic night at Ten Pin Bowling everyone is looking forward to another day of competition tomorrow.

13.01.2022 District High Countryweek 2020 - Day 3 - We had another wonderful day today. Only a couple of games played. Our girls team losing their first game for the week. Boys team is still undefeated. Lots of socialising, time by the pool and resting today ready for the final two days of competition. We had a wonderful dinner at Lago di Como Restaurant & Pizzeria on Preston Street. The owner was so impressed with our students he has asked as for dinner tomorrow night for free.

I am passionate about sharing the Arts with students and firmly believe that young people can find much about their own talents, capabilities and incredible potential through these subjects. Above all, I believe God has a purpose for each of our wonderful students and has equipped them with many gifts, just waiting to be uncovered and developed.

I have firsthand witnessed Mim (Principal) and her incredible team extend generosity and support to not just our family but so many other families around us. I believe we are so truely blessed to be loved, supported and a part of such an amazing, growing and thriving ministry that is Bethel Christian School! Bethel is our home ...through thick and thin, through grievances, through the trials, through the joy and through all the incredible achievements. The school offered to stand by me and become my village. I was very used to not having a village, I was used to doing things in my own strength We knew that we could not possibly ever leave our village! A place we know we are loved supported and most importantly our families is constantly held in prayer.
