24.01.2022 Got the go ahead yesterday from Council for more options of using Bethel House aka Jacobs Estate. Started work on the property again....looking like a busy 2017 Financial Year!

24.01.2022 Thank you Santa Clause for keeping Bethel House beautiful. The deck is re-stained/vanished, the walls are being stained plus lots of other great new additions that keep Bethel House A.K.A. Jacobs Estate, an amazing place to have a relaxing holiday.

22.01.2022 Over the next few days, you will see the final trimmings being put on Jacobs Esates exciting new landscape. Grass was laid today on the newly created outdoor entertainment section with more to come tomorrow, painting & vanishing the entire external sections have almost finished. Work on the entry section continues with more to come over the next few days.

08.01.2022 We have now excavated the top layer of soil to create 3 layers for the outdoor space. The retaing wall stumps have been dug and most posts concreted. Trenches for electrical cabling were dug and cables laid. Some issues along the way but we have been able to either overcome or come up with an alternate plan. Outdoor top-soil and some some top layer materials will arrive on Thursday.

05.01.2022 The retaining walls are 99% done. The irrigation system has been installed and is working, the crushed rock is in the right sections. The new grass comes in on Monday. The front driveway grass has been cleaned up. All immediate fencing has been cleaned. Working bee on Saturday with Casey City Church to do some painting.

01.01.2022 Jacobs Estate is really starting to come together after todays work and we can say that the major works are nearly finished. Today the 3-tier entertainment area was done and in conjuction with the grass area, it looks amazing! The front garden beds are really starting to come and even the cows are peeking their heads out to try out the grass. A wonderful place for a Wedding, Corporate Event or a variety of functions, all catererted for by Going Gourmet.

01.01.2022 2015 has been a fabulous year at Bethel House with almost every weekend booked. 2016 is already getting into gear with plans to extend the facilities to encompass weddings and other private functions in a soon to be developed outdoor entertainment area. Large, clean and comfortable, open planned living with so much space to see and do. It was everything I expected and more. Shami was a fantastic host from start to finish, accommodating us with double bed air mattresses and pump and a later check out as requested. Not to mention the great linen and towels that are already provided. Loved the serenity, ambiance and secluded location. Would highly recommend! December 2015 It was an enjoyable stay to hold our overnight retreat for 26pax. Facilities were adequate for time of teaching, reflection n solitude. We enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings with pkeasant views of the bales of hay n bulls. - Melvin Fantastic place and host. Large open plan living layout. Clean and tidy bedrooms. Linen and towels provided. Great facilities. Shami was a great help and communicated well throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
