25.01.2022 Years ago I remember complaining about the lack of good Vietnamese food on the coast ... then Nguyen Brothers came along in Maroochydore and it does NOT disappoint! Who knew I'd get to meet their beautiful family years later, and what a fun little shoot we had. Maleny is always epic and how can you not smile looking at this adorable family! But seriously.. if you haven't already, go check out Nguyen Brothers, their food is amazing! 23.01.2022 This moment is everything. If you look a little closer you’ll see 4 tiny baby calf’s, they must have only been a few days old! The mum was making sure our distance was kept and when this gorgeous girl screamed (literally) over to swing on the tree our first instincts were to tell her to be quiet. But then we stopped and let her be, I could see what she could see and it was a magical scene. This was one of those little reminders for me to let kids be kids. Let them enjoy as many of these wonderful moments as we can. Let them enjoy them for those who can’t. We live in such a beautiful bubble on the coast and I’m feeling so grateful for the childhood my kids can enjoy

22.01.2022 And she did it. She had the home birth she always wanted with her amazing husband and 18 month old daughter alongside. I CAN NOT WAIT to share their story. What an amazing experience it was. I loaded the photo's when I got home late that night, and I starred at one of the images for a good 10 minutes. I even cried. I think it's one of my all time favorite photo's. I have been too excited and realised I haven't even shared their maternity shoot yet, so stay tuned for both. Here is a shot of Ashleigh in the rain, one that was hanging on her wall at the birth of their new daughter Amelia. She did it. She trusted her body, she was brave, she was powerful. She. Did. It.

21.01.2022 This kid, seriously.. the most quirky fun kid I know, dressed up as a 100yr old for prep today. We were rushing out the door and spent maybe 1-2 mins on these, she knows how to work it haha Love you Milla x

20.01.2022 I’ve been pretty quiet around here this week but finally back in the swing of things after minor surgery. I thought I’d be fine after a day, I was wrong lol but it’s nice to feel more myself again, and thanks to those who checked in One more week until this beautiful family becomes 7! I’ll be there straight after their Csection to capture the delayed cord cutting and some first cuddles. I’m especially looking forward to seeing the kids meet their baby sister for the first time , it’s such a special time

20.01.2022 Mustard and Maroon has been popping up quite a few times lately and I'm definitely not sad about it! If styling for a shoot can seem overwhelming, try not to overthink it! If you get stuck for ideas just scroll though my feed and you'll get a good idea of what you like. Light colours - whites, beige, blue's and grays are always nice too. My biggest tip would be to get wear something that DOESN'T distract from you and the colours of nature. You want to be focused on your fami...ly/emotions not the bright bold pattern. HOWEVER, in saying that, some of my most favourite shoots of our family were the spontaneous ones at the beach, hair undone and well, just ratty. The time I wanted my kids perfectly behaved and dressed.. well let's just say that didn't work out very well for me haha. Just have fun with it! Don't stress! 18.01.2022 USB's... have you backed them up? Here's something to ad to your to do list. Back. Up. Your. Photos!! ALWAYS. As cute as this little USB is, they will NOT last a lifetime and you should always make copies of everything. Store your photo's on another hard drive PLUS the cloud. You'll thank me later! Better yet, #printyourphotos :)

17.01.2022 My top tips for getting toddlers to cooperate during a newborn shoot.. . 1. Be calm, the minute they feel your tension they will OWN YOU haha 2. Be quick. really really quick. 3. Don’t force them to be in photos, the harder you try the harder they push back. Let them go, they get jealous of the attention and will come back when they’re ready.... 4. Be flexible . And now for the real tips.. -hide little toys in baby’s wraps (see photos 1&3) - let them watch Youtube diggers during sibling shots (photos 4-5) -bribe them with Chocolate. Or candy. Or tv.. (with parents permission of course lol) And that’s it. Easy! Ok not always easy, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and you won’t care or probably even remember when you see the photos

15.01.2022 These tiny little lines, ridges and mapping form as early as 2 months after an egg has been fertilised. No other human in the world will have the same as you.. It's incredible to me how much goes into our creation. Every little cell knowing exactly what to do. We will grow and change and these amazing prints will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Amazing really!

I pinch myself everyday that I get to hang out with such amazing people and capture these memories for them. Here are 25 photo's of 189... yep, 189! That's how well he slept!

09.01.2022 So this is us. Completely raw, honest and unfiltered photos of pure disgust haha. I'm not going to say what happened, or what I discovered lol but feel free to caption it. But honestly, as unflattering as the first one is, it might just be my new favourite. I am quite possibly the most intolerant wife ever, I can't stand chewing near me, or smells, (or the 'thing' that happened in this photo, which is not what you’re all guessing!) But when I saw this photo I laughed sooo har...d for so long. Our life isn't perfect, I probably do this face on the daily. But i'm so glad to have these memories to look back on. We laughed in the moment, and when we're old and grey we'll look back and laugh again. We'll laugh at our perfectly imperfect life, the mistakes made, the failures, everything that made us US. 06.01.2022 Warning - Graphic Images. You know when you just get a feeling about someone? I met Tiffany on an online renovation forum, and I could see she was a beautiful glowing mum to be! I just had this feeling that I would have more to do with her in some way. Well, a few weeks later she messages me about doing her BIRTH! I feel embarrased how I even responded back to her, I was that excited. If I could pick one thing to photograph full time, it would be Births. Fast forward to the b...irth of Layla Jane and it was nothing short of amazing. James and Tiffany are the most beautiful couple you could meet, you will see in the images how supportive James is, which made for amazing moments for me to freeze for them. 06.01.2022 What can I even say about these 2, what an adorable pair! I not only get to capture a glowing mum to be, but the unmistakable bond between Mother and Toddler. It will be their last few weeks together before little Poppy gets the title of "Sister" and their hearts expand even more!
