18.01.2022 The word legend is often overused but Ron Wall was definitely a legend in his own lifetime! There has been a lot of great tributes written on the recent passing of Ron and I would like to add just a few words of my own. He was a champion horseman, a champion bloke, a mentor to many and a friend to everyone! It certainly was an honour and a priviledge to make saddles for Ron. Our thoughts are with Jodie and his family at this sad time. Thanks to Jo Thieme Photography for the great photo too.
17.01.2022 We wish you all the best for 2020! We hope the new decade is kind to you and you get to achieve your dreams and goals. Thanks to everyone for your support in 2019 from the Texas Longhorn Tours, Bethel Saddlery & Horseshoe B Longhorns team
17.01.2022 We have several used 'Western Stock' saddles for sale here in the shop. We have checked them out and dome any repairs etc. that were needed. Check them out and remember the price includes shipping anywhere in Australia :) https://shop.bethelsaddlery.com.au/collect/saddles-for-sale
17.01.2022 It's been a long time since I made a team roping saddle and it brought back memories of the old roping days when I was building this one for Will :) This saddle was made on a Warren Wright tree (Don King style) and was finished with Jeremiah Watt rigging dees and conchos. Stirrups are leather-lined polished stainless steel Wilson 'deep roper' style.
17.01.2022 Here is a small selection of our Horseshoe B Saddlery 'Western Stock' saddles that we have delivered recently. They are all made to order - we use the same patterns as our Bethel Saddlery saddles, first quality Hermann Oak skirting leather and all saddles are built on rawhide covered trees. Because we use another full-time, very experienced saddle maker to build these, the turn-around time is a lot shorter than for a Bethel Saddlery saddle. These are great saddles and will certainly stand the test of time in the hardest of working conditions! Give us a holler if you are interested or need more information :)

16.01.2022 We at Texas Longhorn Tours, Horseshoe B Longhorns & Bethel Saddlery would like to pay tribute to the brave men and women throughout our great country who are fi...ghting these fires that just seem to be going on forever. We commend you for your courage and sense of duty. We are also thinking of the families of the young firemen who recently lost their lives doing their duty and to everyone affected in any way! 14.01.2022 How blessed am I? In the short 23 years of my life... I have had a lifetime of experiences!! I was a World All Around Champion when I was 18 years old, was then... involved in a rollover car accident leaving me in a wheelchair. Doctors said riding would not happen and competing in rodeo would be impossible. Yet here I am, 4 years after that event, on a college rodeo team, made every short go this spring, just left team practice roping 4 of my 5 calves and still competing in the sport I love!! Certainly rolling around every day is not the ideal situation but I can still be happy and live life!! Holy goodness what a blessing to still be doing what I love... and hey not be too shabby either! ;) Count your blessings!!* Amberley Snyder*

12.01.2022 Congratulations to $10,000 Powlathanga Open Draft winner Harvey Wakeford and ‘Sheridan’ owned by Massab Metals, Black River. One of the best horseman around and a great colt starter Harvey (HG Equine) has been riding our saddles for a long time now and a proud user of Diamond Wool Pad Co. - AUS. pads.
12.01.2022 Well after a couple of weeks the sun came out today and it ended this evening with a beautiful sunset our two newest additions (the Scottish Highlanders) snuc...k into the photo... :) When we were looking at the green and the gold in the photo we started to reflect a little on what’s been happening the last couple of weeks in Australia. We came out of the ‘big wet’ relatively unscathed just some sick and sorry calves and fences to fix so we are counting our blessings, especially that we will now should have some great feed as a result of the rain :) Our thoughts are very much with the Aussies who have had to deal with so much lately record rainfall and floods in Townsville, massive floods in Western Queensland, fires in Tassie, storms in Sydney and still plenty of drought ravaged country waiting for rain and probably more that we've missed. We are fortunate to have friends, family, clients and customers all over Australia and we’d like you to let you know we are thinking of you if you are doing it tough at this time!
