23.01.2022 Should we meet Before/During booking my Wedding/Elopement? YES! The wedding photographer is (in my opinion) one of the more important vendors you will book for your big day! The photographer is the one who you spend the most time with on the day, who is at times your shadow, capturing your every move you make and after all is said and done, they are the ones who provide you with the photos to look back on and cherish. It is for this reason, that I think it is SO important to ...meet first and get to know your photographer (even if it's an online chat) before the wedding, to make sure we are comfortable with each other and a good fit. So... WHAT BETTER TIME TO MEET THAN AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT? I offer a pre-wedding engagement shoots with ALL wedding collections. This is without-a-doubt the best time to meet (whether it's a month or a year before your wedding). We can scope wedding day locations too if desired, but let's get you comfortable with my shooting style and being in front of the camera. If an engagement session isn't on your list of must-have's and you'd rather skip it, let me know! Nothing is mandatory, everything in my collections can be tailored to suit YOU. Traditionally an elopement is running off to get married in secret, but often these days couples plan what we now call an elopement or micro-wedding with VERY limited guest numbers (less than 20). It gives couples an opportunity to plan simpler formalities, save money and keep their ceremony small and intimate. Covid-19 has seen a sharp rise in couples interested in doing just this (I did).... But who doesn't want to throw confetti and sip champagne with their friends too? 02.01.2022 S U R P R I S E ! They two legends tied the knot in a top secret ceremony last weekend. Sworn to secrecy I have been buzzing to share their amazing news (once the fam were filled in). Candice + Daniel smashed the ISO wedding. Didn't matter that restrictions meant only 5 people could be present, they weren't going to let anything get in the way of their day and becoming husband and wife! It was such a fun day! More confetti thrown in 3 hours than I've seen in a month of weddings, and why not? Who doesn't LOVE confetti photos? 01.01.2022 Appreciation Post I often look back on past albums, couples and families! But this would have to be the ONE wedding album I look to the most! THIS DAY CHANGED MY LIFE ... Julia and Josh hired me to photograph their wedding in April 2018. I arrived a little early and the FIRST face I saw was Julia's big brother and groomsman.... And that was it I knew there was something special about him before I even got out of my car and I was right. I might not say it often but I do think it often, how grateful I am that Julia + Josh's path crossed mine, and that they booked me and introduced me to MY husband Funny how little life's little choices can have such an impactful butterfly effect on the world around us

But I think we can all agree on a massive message that's come from it, buy Australian + SUPPORT LOCALS! You might not be looking to book a professional photographer right now, but you might know who is. Local service providers (such as myself) rely heavily on word-of-mouth and social networking (social media algorithms are making it more difficult and expensive everyday to get noticed), so support local businesses by SHARING their page / posts and INVITING your friends and family to like them (it's painless, I promise).
