16.01.2022 I am really proud to be part of Stockton's inaugural women's cricket competition. This has been an incredible example of co-design initiated by Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club. The Club recognised the importance of establishing cricket pathways for women and girls and reached out to women in the community to learn about the best ways in which to make this happen. The Club has really listened to ideas and implemented them. The whole Club is on board and the local community is very supportive. The Club will continue to garner feedback as the event comes closer and as the event occurs. Each session will be an improvement on the one before. Thank you Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club for listening to the women in your community and thank you to the local community for supporting this great event.

12.01.2022 I have always been reluctant to see sportspeople as role models. First and foremost, your parents should be your role models. In this case, with Ash Barty and Dylan Alcott, I make an exception. Incredible people, incredible role models. I can't wait for the Olympics and Paralympics.
