20.01.2022 The Colour Purple This is my final ‘sample chair. The back is reupholstered in velvet - lilac on the front and deep purple on the back (it’s difficult to see in this photo but it’s an overcast rainy day so the light isn’t good). The floral fabric on the seat was sourced from India and is also velvet. I love recreating vintage with a new twist.... This chair has been stripped back, painted, restuffed and recovered with a bit of sass! I can tailor a chair to your choice of fabric and colour combination. 01.01.2022 Two more ‘sample’ chairs completed! Then I had to construct a shelving system to start storing the ‘spares’ and the ‘samples’. A huge bruise on my arm when I caught it between the shelf and upright is evidence of the exertion involved. I hope you like them. They were stripped back, painted, rewebbed, reshuffled and recovered. The blue and white is covered in the the Hamptons’ colours. The second, in velvet, has a tropical look.
