21.01.2022 Celebrating together the love that lasts a lifetime!

20.01.2022 A special thanks to all the staff, residents and relatives who contributed to a successful un-announced visit from "the department" yesterday. The assessors were very complimentary of all the support they received and were happy to recommend we demonstrated compliance with all expected outcomes. Thank you to you all. Another testimony to the great team at Bethsalem Care, where life matters!

19.01.2022 Full marks to our catering team for creating such a fantastic afternoon tea for our residents with special textured dietary needs. Devonshire Tea with fresh fruit and custard. It went down a treat! At Bethsalem Care.

16.01.2022 A H-U-G-E thank you to everybody who came and enjoyed the Annual Autumn Fair. It was a wonderful success, with lots of willing workers serving happy customers, enjoying a cool but dry Autumn. We appreciate the excellent financial result, but we value the community involvement and opportunity to showcase our delightful home and gardens to the local community. Thanks to everybody who pitched in to make this day another memorable success.... (Sorry about the delays at the Cafe - we heard it was worth the wait, but we will work harder to improve the turn-around time next year)

16.01.2022 Thankyou to all of our residents, staff and visitors for helping to keep Bethsalem Care safe in these tough times. Please keep up the good work as we work together for each other's safety. We recognise the challenges facing families and friends with loved ones in Residential Care and are liaising with families to continue to allow care and support visits under the safety restrictions in place.

15.01.2022 During 2020 we are taking our Residents on a world-wide adventure, exploring a new destination each month. The experiences include food, culture, history, music and so much more - February takes us to Egypt. The Cafe is going all out, creating culinary experiences in line with the resident's journey... Check out the February's program of activities here ... http://www.bethsalemcare.com.au/news-events

14.01.2022 Last week we were delighted to have Alpha Studios provide a unique opportunity for our residents by bringing a photographic studio session to Bethsalem Care. The results were stunning - portraits that captured a lifetime of stories that make our residents unique and special. Thank you Alpha Studios for such caring and meaningful work.

11.01.2022 An Aussie themed Xmas luncheon for the residents of Bethsalem Care. Well done to everybody involved for making this such a happy occasion.

09.01.2022 Due to the ongoing and changing situation with Coronavirus, we have cancelled the Annual Autumn Fair which was scheduled for tomorrow. Our main focus is on the safety and well being of our residents, so this decision has been taken to help to keep COVID-19 away from Bethsalem Care. During this difficult time please only come to Bethsalem Care if you are well, and have not travelled outside Australia in the last 14 days. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this will result in.

08.01.2022 Our week of "winter cruising" fun continues around the Pacific Islands. We happily welcomed family members on board for a special Captain's Table Luncheon followed by "nautical" activities. Passengers and crew threw themselves into the fun and festivities, coming out for luncheon embracing the theme. Well done to the team from the galley who cooked up delicious treats for lunch, and Cruise Director, Deb and her team for coordinating a massive effort.

08.01.2022 This week the great team at Bethsalem Care will be going "all out" to make the festive season a happy one for all our residents. A special resident's luncheon on Tuesday and opportunity for family and friends to join in with a special festive supper on Thursday night. Please join in and support the team that provide care to your loved ones.

06.01.2022 Welcome Aboard ... Today the cruise ship, HV Una (named in honour of our recently retired longest serving employee) set sail from Happy Valley for a winter cruise through the Pacific Islands. A week of "cruise ship" activities kicked off with a delightful morning tea, with "cruise director" Deb and her team putting in a huge effort. Thanks to all the staff for getting on board! Watch this space for more updates as we cruise the Pacific Islands throughout the week.

03.01.2022 A huge thank you to everybody who supported the Bethsalem Annual Fair 2018 today. Despite the weather a great time was had by all. Special thanks to all our stall holders and organising team - the set-up and pack-up crews. Thanks to all our visitors who contributed so much energy and enthusiasm to the most exciting day in our calendar. Thanks to Cilla Pitcher Photography for capturing it so well!

02.01.2022 The Annual Bethsalem Care Autumn Fair is on tomorrow! In case you are concerned about tomorrow's weather - special arrangements have been made - the show will still go one! Come along and enjoy the Fun of the Fair - we have created a special food court and a cafe area in the protection of the inner courtyards and made special provisions in case of poor weather.... Don't let the rain keep you away - lots of hot food and drinks available, craft, garden, white elephant stalls as well as loads of great activities for the kids.
