25.01.2022 It is with deep regret that we have to cancel the ‘Back to Betoota Bash’ for this weekend due to the latest Coronavirus Restrictions we will advise as soon as possible a new date as soon as the restrictions are lifted. We apologise for any inconvenience for all of you who were travelling out!

23.01.2022 After meeting all the criteria, the pub had it’s final inspection last Monday and we were officially open last week! Due to the current situation the world faces, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has asked all licence premises to close their doors from 12pm today till further notice. We would sincerely like to thank everyone who has helped out, donated in anyway possible, it has been so greatly appreciated and we look forward to creating a memorable experience within the Diama...ntina Shire, one you’ll never forget! To everyone who has made this possible I cannot thank you enough! Stay safe everyone! We will be keeping the beers chilled in the meantime.

21.01.2022 G’day guys the Betoota phone has been down for about a week now and we have it back up and running again. Sorry for the inconvenience for anyone who has been trying to get through, we are still all set for the last event of the year this weekend.

21.01.2022 Most of you who have passed through and wet your whistle at the pub have meet these 3 larrikins, Robyn and Dave, they stopped in for a beer and ended up working the bar for 5 or 6 weeks while Roach was attending another of his projects out of town, a real big help, great team mates and Dave actually thought he was funny,that's Robbo on the right, the boss, the man responsible for keeping the lights on and the beers cold, plus many more things behind the scene, but I wanted t...o tell you about the other guy in the photo, Wilson, he's a 1960's AFL footy that was abandoned by his father 1 dark night around the fire pit, I found Wilson the next morning alone and cold, tossed under a chair and forgotten, I thought he may have been part of the many little artifacts Robbo has on display, so we propped him up on the bar, until Hugh from Dutton Park in Brisbane got in touch with us, he explained that him and his mates were sitting around the fire pit telling yarns and drinking, someone mentioned the AFL and before you know it they were kicking the ball around, this must have been well into the night because I stayed up late that night and I don't remember any sort of childhood grand final reenactment, just saying... long story short Wilson will be reunited with his family in the next stock run back to Brisbane, he has been well looked after and will be sadly missed, just one of the little things we do out here to keep everyone happy. 20.01.2022 Is it with absolute great sadness to share that today we lost one of Betoota hotels hardest workers and also one of my closest mates. Wayne mate, you will be forever missed and I will be forever greatful for your friendship. Rest easy. We will have a beer out here at Betoota for you tonight mate.

You’ve probably heard of #Betoota .. famou...s for it’s population of zero & The Betoota Advocate of course! The Betoota Hotel has only recently opened after being closed since 2004. Robbo the new owner had just opened & then covid hit. It’s only been in the last few weeks that they’ve got back up & running again. #Covid is really affecting these small towns in the #outback. So if you’re someone who is lucky enough to be able to afford & manage a road trip, please do & make sure to go with an #emptyesky

14.01.2022 Here at the Betoota Hotel we hoped you had a wonderful Christmas & New Year! We ended the year with a great Christmas party for the neighbouring stations. We have been closed over the Christmas break in preparation for the new season and will have a cold beer ready and waiting come early FEBRUARY but will keep you updated.

14.01.2022 Due to the fire at the Bedourie Roadhouse we want to let travellers know that the Betoota Hotel has plenty of fuel, tyres, welding and tow truck services for any breakdowns to make sure we can keep you safe and on the road. 13.01.2022 This is what happens when you attempt to pass a triple (Road Train) between Betoota & Windorah in the dust. Lucky no one was hurt, people please be safe and take extreme caution when driving on these dusty long roads. Betoota towing to the rescue today
