23.01.2022 Fellow parents! Who's ready for homeschooling??? we've been at it for two weeks already, let's flatten that curve so we can get back to all the things we love doing. I've been making up bags of off cuts, funny shapes, bits and pieces. They are full of colours, textures (great for sensory play) all bags have sequins or lace. Some might have ribbon, or an empty spool of thread. All ready to get crafting! Our kids are almost 9, 6 and 4 this month (boy, girl, boy) and they all l...ove fabric scraps. They all use them differently. See what they can do. $10 a bag. The bags are plastic, but I am re-using them from my garment bags. So all of it's being re-used, so that's a bonus too. 16.01.2022 Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter! This Easter is a very different one. And although we are very much missing our extended family and all there hugs, it also makes us appreciate them all the more. This year, we've stayed home, had a beautiful family day, Easter egg hunt, chocolate and hot cross buns for breakfast, roast beef and Yorkshire puddings for lunch and now some fresh bread baking.
