06.01.2022 Dementia can impact one's life in many ways. For Hendrika, who lives with Alzheimer's disease and Vascular Dementia one thing that changed was that she was no longer able to paint her nails. With the help of her son, Jason, she was able to gain that precious moment back. And he did a pretty amazing job at them. When Melbourne went into lockdown, Avice from Traralgon called into the radio to request a song, ‘You Are My Sunshine?. This became a weekly traditional with many songs requested and many listeners eager for her call. But it was her 100-year-old mystery that intrigued everyone the most, the meaning behind her name.
