24.01.2022 HAPPY MONDAY! This weeks meal prep snack is home made muesli bar slice... INGREDIENTS 2 cups rolled oats cup coconut sugar 1 teaspoons baking powder teaspoon salt teaspoon cinnamon 2 eggs cup almond milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract cup walnuts finely chopped cup dried cranberries METHOD Preheat oven to 170. Line an 8-inch square tray with baking paper hanging over the edge. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients including the rolled oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Then combine the wet ingredients by mixing them into the dry, including the eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Once mixed through, set aside until flavors blend, about 20 minutes. Fold in the walnuts and cranberries, and spread combined mixture into prepared tray. Bake in the oven until edges are golden brown, about 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool on wire rack for 5 minutes before cutting.

19.01.2022 Being a beginner does not mean you’re bad at something, it just means there is space to grow If there’s one piece of advice I could give to someone starting out their health & fitness journey it would be don’t go from 0-100 straight away! Many people go full steam ahead and usually burnout super fast or give up completely because of this. ... You don’t need to have it all worked out straight away. Start out with one thing and gradually overtime add another thing, and another. And eventually it will be many things that you are now implementing in your daily routine and it will feel normal and will come easily. Some healthy habits to begin with might be: Walking 5-10k steps each day Working out for 30 minutes x3 days per week Including one new vegetable into your diet weekly Drinking 1L water each day Getting 8 hours of sleep each night for a week Reducing your processed food intake It might seem like the smallest, simplest thing but all together as a whole makes a huge difference! Just making a start and committing yourself to one healthy habit a week is super powerful!!!

06.01.2022 BERRY CHIA PUDDING I’m not usually someone who measures when I cook so I created a recipe as close I could to when I first made this ! If the chia seed mix consistency is too thick & gluggy, add more milk. ... Enjoy this for breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack! YOU WILL NEED 80 gram white chia seeds 20 gram yopro yogurt (strawberry or blueberry flavour) 260 gram almond milk (any milk of choice) teaspoon honey a punnet of strawberries, blueberries & raspberries METHOD Mix all ingredients together until combined well & chia seeds have started to grow place some mixture in bottom of jar, then layer with berries then add more of the chia seed mix on top you can make as many layers as you like or you can create two of these chia pudding jars top with more honey for some extra sweetness
