13.01.2022 Take a look at how many Australian cotton bud retailers have 'switched the stick' to become 'better buds'. This is great news for our oceans and environment. The shift away from plastic-stemmed cotton buds by the cotton bud industry has literally stopped millions of plastic stems going into landfill and into our oceans. In response to the increasing awareness & evidence of cotton bud marine pollution, big names like Target JOHNSON'S baby ALDI Australia, Coles & Kmart Australia have committed to no longer sell plastic cotton buds in Australia. Now we just need our government to get with the progrom and ban single-use plastic stemmed cotton buds.
