13.01.2022 Congratulations to Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre for achieving the following recognition badges in its 2019/20 BBP Appraisal! Business Health, Energy, Water, Bye Bye Plastic, Staff and Community. Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre is owned by the non-profit YMCA group and is Ku-ring-gai LGA’s pre-eminent aquatic centre offering indoor and outdoor heated pools, water park, gymnasium and fitness classes. The Aquatic centre has achieved some significant sustainabi...lity milestones including a full Building Management System to automate energy and water use across the site, energy and water efficiency targets and KPIs, installation of energy efficient lighting and pool covers, and water efficient showers, taps and toilets.
