23.01.2022 With stronger than expected employment figures , a rising residential real estate market , & CPI ( inflation ) edging upwards we believed that the RBA was always going to " keep their powder dry " & keep the official cash rate steady at 0.75% . It seems that RBA is adopting a wait & watch approach & allowing the 3 X 2019 rate drops wash through the economy to see if that the previous 3 rate reductions will help get the economy moving . What no-one banked upon was the horrendo...us bush fires & a world wide virus outbreak & what effect these 2 events will have on the Australian economy . Max purchase price in Perth is $400K & regional W.A is $300K . Max income for a single person purchasing is $125K & the max income for a couple purchasing is $200K . Of the all up 20% deposit going into the property , you come up with 5% & the Government guarantees the other 15% .
