14.01.2022 Jim and Helens organic veggie garden coming along very nicely cabbages cauliflower broccoli and Brussel sprouts . We thinned out some kolrrabie seedlings and transplanted them to give there little mates a bit of room to grow and produce . Also we planted some more Savoy cabbages and Tuscan kale . I spent the afternoon pruning some trees along the fence line . An enjoyable day as always .

07.01.2022 We found it hard to source everything we needed to make this little garden look beautiful. It is not the best time of the year to spice a lot of plant varieties . However Bev and I managed to create a good mix of great old varieties mixed with some new ones . We have planted diamonds in the dark red Crimson blush crepe myrtles, pink Rosemary and lilac blue hydrangeas. Just to name s few. Our little spring garden is ready for some sunshine and warmth and away it will go .
