22.01.2022 NEW PRODUCT RELEASE! XA/XB/XC Reinforcement Brace for Engine Crossmember. $25 plus postage. Developed and Introduced due to customer requests. This plate fits between the Engine Crossmember Pad and the Engine Crossmember. In standard crossmembers there's a tendency for the crossmember and crossmember pad to spread when the pad is used for jacking the car up. This plate prevents the crossmember from spreading when you jack the car up using the pad. Another quality product from Better Than NOS!

18.01.2022 NEW PRODUCT RELEASE! XA/XB/XC REINFORCED Engine Crossmember Pad. $75 plus postage. Developed and Introduced due to customer requests. This is a standard pad with a reinforcement plate (6mm) fitted and welded into place within a standard crossmember pad. These are a lot of extra work over a standard pad and are way less likely to deform from jacking than a standard plate! The reinforcement plate has been radiused by hand to sit flat in the standard pad, so there isn't a gap between the two plates. It's then been welded into place with 14 welds which have been thoroughly cleaned for painting. The whole part has then been e-coated to get paint everywhere a standard spray gun can't. Another quality Better Than NOS product!

06.01.2022 SNEAK PEEK OF NEW PRODUCT! Hi Everyone! I know I've been quiet for a quite while, because I've been busy developing my largest and most complex part yet - the XA-XC UPPER PLENUM PANEL! This product has taken 18 months to develop, this is a generic part designed to fit XA-XC (and ZF/ZG/ZH/P5/P6). ... It doesn't feature the balanced lifting points of the XC plenum or the square wiper motor weld nuts of the XA/XB plenum. Unfortunately, with this part being so complex to press, 2 sections had to be seam welded into the main pressing - on the extreme drivers side and where the wiper motor sits. There are also differences between how XA/XB or XC upper plenum panel are trimmed along the front edge, these panels are trimmed to suit XA/XB and have excess material on the front edge in a few places that needs to be trimmed for fitment to an XC. All three reinforcement panel normally fitted to the rear are present and spot welded to the underside, as are the three weld nuts for the wiper motor. These parts will also be stocked drilled for either XA big ID tag or twin ID tags, and on request a second set of holes for the intermediate cars (10-12/72) where the plenum is drilled for both types of tags. These parts are eCoated. I'm currently working on the production parts, which I expect to be ready in around month. The price of this panel will be $950 firm if contacted directly or $1050 if purchased from my eBay store. More plenum are parts to follow. Thanks for having a look.
