22.01.2022 Meet Kiri she recently joined Metro North Hospital and Health Service as part of the Indigenous Allied Health Cadetship Program. Kiri is a proud descendant of the Djabera Djabera tribe from the Kimberley, WA and is studying Medical Laboratory Science at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). I believe we are slowly growing our representation in the science f...ield, so I am passionate about getting more of our young people engaged with hands on science. My biggest advice is to go for any opportunities that you can commit to, whether it be through Uni, or applying for a traineeship or cadetship through another organisation such as this one. Every opportunity I've been involved with through my time at University has always grown to other invaluable opportunities and experiences, academically and culturally. #BetterTogether #Indigenoushealth #closethegap
