21.01.2022 My beaded Apple Tree. Waiting for the farmer and the boy helping himself to an apple

17.01.2022 Good morning all. Welcome to all our visitors,to our beautiful Warners Bay. According to the forecast it should be fine. I have been very busy in the last 4 weeks since the last Market on Sept. 21st. I have some new items to show. I have been asked for souvenir tea towels of Warners Bay, They are a little bit difficult to obtain, plus being quite expensive. I have however worked out another type of souvenir. It is a photo of the Foreshore at Warners Bay, framed and mounted on... a wooden base. It has beaded flowers; Wattle, Jacaranda or NSW Christmas Bush. There is also a piece of driftwood from Lake Macquarie on the base. These will sell at $7-50. I have a range of Christmas tree baubles and wreaths. Some are traditional, some are not. I have obtained gum nuts, cranberry berries, and eucalyptus leaves and commenced to make an Australian themed bauble. Most of the baubles I have, are shatterproof, and the beading etc on them is removable. If the bauble breaks, take the beading off and put it on another one. These are $10. I have a few hand towels that now have some crochet on it and a buttoned tag so it can be hung. Visiting Brisbane recently I was shown a throw over protection for clothing. I made some for adults and was asked if I had them for children. Photo below of one that I have made. They are $5. Two sizes up to 6 years. Plain or patterned Some weeks ago I ordered some pearls from a supplier, quoted the wrong size and amount. I know have ropes of pearls for $5. Some are just the pearls, others I have strung with a small coloured bead between each pearl. The Tea Towels, well some of them are really stunning. There are about 50 to choose from. My boy up the apple tree is still on show, and can be purchased; plus other beaded works. As you can see I have been busy. Come and have a look at the work, something might appeal to you, with Christmas coming up, I believe it is 67 days from today. To all, enjoy the Superboats and jet skis. Betty Lind. See more

14.01.2022 The Hunter Arts Network Markets are on this coming Sunday 25th August in Lambton Park. 10:00am to 3:00pm. I will be there with my customary range of beaded cre...ations, and crocheted tea towels, hand towels etc. All towels are $10 each. I have managed to secure a range of the latest pearl clips, together with combs and other types of hair adornments. I know Christmas is quite a few days away, but I have shatter proof Christmas baubles and other decorations suitable for Christmas Trees. Most are $10, but some are $5. No angels yet but there are others. I have rather unique key rings, $10 and $5 as well as Book Marks at $5.

10.01.2022 My beaded creations can be made to order, or purchased at the Warners Bay Markets or the Hunter Art Network Markets. I also crochet tea towels of all description, have Hand towels in Plain colours or the Jacquard style available. Australiana styled towels, need a small gift to take overseas. If you cannot make the markets phone 0417 404 553 for an appointment at my home. I live in Warners Bay. I was a singer, but the upshot of an operation was I lost that ability, I have found a new creative activity, Beading. Making flowers out of beads.
