24.01.2022 When you send a greeting card it’s only partly about the actual card. It’s also about the connection with someone special and giving them a surprise in the letterbox that’s not a bill or junk mail! I intentionally leave most of my greeting cards blank inside so that you can create your own message. I know from experience, there’s nothing worse than finding a beautiful card but discovering a poorly written note or sappy poem inside! But sometimes it's hard to think of just t...he right thing to say (hello mum brain!) So I have written a page of heartfelt messages for you to draw inspiration from or even just copy straight into your card. Simply sign up to my email list and you'll receive the template of messages in your first email from me! Here's the link https://mailchi.mp/798510096555/bettybluebelle (PS. If you're already one of my crew I'll be flicking you an email with the template in the next few days xx)

23.01.2022 Just ignore the epic mess in the background This is my wren print in A2. I only have the one of it at the moment. My question is, should I list it?

21.01.2022 The print and the card. Too much? I do love a #matchymatchy

19.01.2022 Who uses Facebook on a Saturday? Me clearly! Maybe other people just have more exciting lives than me #whodhavethought

19.01.2022 I hope all the Dad's out there had a wonderful day today. Here's a fun fact for you about Blue fairy wrens: Wren dads that sing to their chicks get more attentive chicks! I'll have to get hubby to start singing to the chicks .. I mean kids ... This big beautiful print sold very quickly tonight and I've had a number of messages about it too which leaves me wondering if I should do a pre-order and have some more printed? Send me a PM if you would be interested in a pre-order of this print and I'll see what I can do!

18.01.2022 And now for something completely different.... Who knows where that line is from? Swipe to see some shimmery paint

16.01.2022 Are you ok? It's ok to not be ok. It's ok to say No, actually I'm not ok. Please ask your friends. And ask again, because the first answer is not always the honest one. Especially in light of the current situation with people stuck in lock down and/or suffering from financial and emotional hardship due to the pandemic, it's a really important time to reach out and check on friends and loved ones. Xx... Anna See more

15.01.2022 Which style do you like best, 1 or 2? These are a couple of the last original heart artworks I have currently available

14.01.2022 It's Friday so share with me your #winoftheweek big or small! Mine is *almost* finishing off this huge A2 mixed media piece I've been working on for ages! Swipe to see some texture @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

14.01.2022 I had so many things I needed to do today, but instead, I painted in the studio for an hour #seriousselfcare How did you look after yourself today? Tell me below! I'm trying realllly hard to have some originals ready for a release very soon. And I can't wait to share with you the matching painting to this little acrylic (bottom left).... If you caught my live today you'd know that subscriptions open up again on Sunday for one week only. 3 card, 6 card and new gift box options! They won't open up again after this until 2021 (feels crazy saying that, 2020 is nearly done! #hooray).

14.01.2022 When your inspiration comes straight from your backyard Have you heard a pale headed rosella before? They have such a high pitched sound - I almost always hear them before I see them

14.01.2022 Me trying to take up most of the photo so you can't see how much of a mess my studio is in I really need to get organised in there but because I always lock the door when I'm not in there (#nolittlehandsallowed) it's a bit #outtasightouttamind if you know what I mean? Anyway this is my 'Samford' gum blossom print in the A3. It's a museum grade print that pretty much looks like the original (which is sold). I'm realllly inventive with naming my paintings. This one was named ...after the suburb I took the reference photo in I should probs work on my 'naming painting' skills (is that even a thing? )

10.01.2022 Happy National Wattle Day! Did you know the first day of spring (1st Sept) marks national wattle day here in Australia? It is one of my favourite#australiannative plants and thus you will find it in so many of my artworks

10.01.2022 I have decided moving forward I will be only opening my greeting card subscription 4 times a year (every 3 months). This means that when it closes at the end of this month it won't reopen until mid Nov (right in time for Christmas cards ). The main reason for this is so that I can focus on my designs for my subscribers but also when it reopens there will be more options for you!... I will be introducing a smaller subscription pack (3 cards per month) and also a larger option which I haven't finalised yet - it won't have more cards but will have other products to make more of a subscription box. I'm actually super excited about the last option as it's something I would personally subscribe to and it will be full of things to either keep for yourself or have at the ready as gifts! If you've read this far - firstly THANK YOU! and secondly drop me your fave emoji below My current fave is

10.01.2022 That proud moment when you announce your babe has arrived Also good for taking a quick photo with bub to look back and remember just how small they were - it's amazing how quickly they grow isn't it!?

09.01.2022 My Little John (Melaleuca viminalis) is flowering better this year than I've ever seen it (it was here when we bought our house 10 yrs ago ). At least something good has come out of 2020! What's flowering in your garden at the moment?

07.01.2022 LAST CHANCE Greeting card and gift box subscriptions close tomorrow night! This is your last chance to join this year If you love having cards handy at home when ever you need them, love giving unique artist designed cards and love supporting Australian businesses then this subscription is for you!!

06.01.2022 Are you organised for Father's Day yet? I'm surely not If you've watched my stories today you'd know I've just released a new 'Mystery' card pack. 5 cards designed by me, delivered as a once off pack to your door (as opposed to my monthly card subscription which arrives every month... obvs!)... The cards in this pack are a surprise and only available for the next 2 weeks (or until sold out), but I CAN tell you that one of the cards in the pack will be my 'Best Dad' card, right in time for Father's Day Tap the pic for the link xx

06.01.2022 #throwbackthursday to when the #wattle was still in bloom! It's been a long week here! Lots happening behind the scenes to prep for my original artwork release.... Also working my day job, hubby away, the kids regular activities plus lots of end of year things starting to pop up so I've taken some time out from SM a little this week. How are you going coming into this busy time for year? Don't forget to take time to look after yourself! Xx Anna

06.01.2022 #wattle in the wild! When you buy art, do you prefer realistic pieces or abstract? In my home I have a mixture of both but do tend to gravitate towards abstract or looser artworks! PS. My abstract wattle series is a numbered, limited print run ie once they are in collectors' homes there won't be any more available ever again!

05.01.2022 Try and pick a fav... I dare you

03.01.2022 Were you in fact aware, that to receive your #bettybluebelle pretties you won't need to pay shipping within Australia AND you can purchase via Afterpay? #justsayin Hope it's been a beautiful, relaxing Sunday for you. We spent most of the day chilling with close friends and as a result the kids are early to bed tonight #winwin...

02.01.2022 I went for a walk to the lake at the end of my street today with my mum and for the first time ever spotted a blue wren! We actually saw 17 different bird species #yesimadealist which makes me very grateful to live where I do. My mother was rather pleased however that we did not see any snakes! ... What is something you are grateful for today?
