25.01.2022 Cyclone Oma caused a lot of grief but thanks to a big community effort laying sandbags a years or so ago, we protected the beach from significant erosion. Work to do but it could have been much worse.

09.01.2022 We were sad to see some beach erosion at Cowan in the big storm a few weeks ago that also washed away the stairs to the beach. The power of the storm surge was unbelievable. New stairs are now in place and hopefully that is the end of the stormy weather for a while

08.01.2022 Slow progress with the new BBQ spit roast. Bench seat done and bricks for BBQ arrived so the hard work starts next month

04.01.2022 After 3 years, we are only months away from finishing the new BBQ area. The spit roast is going over in September to join the Big Green Egg slow cooker.
