25.01.2022 This is Norman's new friend, a baby heifer that was obviously burnt in the bushfires here but not found until this week. Her hair is growing back but all fuzzy, the burnt areas getting hair back. She will be fine now she is home to live at the house, obviously an orphan. Old Glory the pony is sharing her stable with the pair of them at night

24.01.2022 We have thought long and hard about it but have decided to consider selling 250acres of our mountain country, paradise for the camper and someone wanting accessable peace and quiet. PM for more info if you are interested, we have a good road to the top of the mountain, the views are to die for and a building approval is available for the cabin of your dreams or just enjoy a fun campsite amongst the tall trees and birds. We will still have the majority of our beautiful farm down below but as we get older have decided that is plenty for us. After this Covid19 has left us we will reopen the camping again. Keep safe everyone!

21.01.2022 A good thing to come out of the fires here, a little orphan we called Norman, tiny little fellow who we are feeding now . the fires have severely affected our beautiful valley , however everyone has helped each other, fighting fires, sending food, organising hay drops , checking on each other at different farms along the valley. Only two houses lost and several sheds etc but no lives lost. The fire is currently sitting in the Forestry plantation , will see what happens. Sad to see so many huge old , old trees fall during the night here. Photos here are of Norman and also 35yr old Glory, safe in her stable, wondering what is happening

20.01.2022 Things are looking lovely here at Beulah, autumn colours as the big Cedars lose their leaves. The bushfire damage is now hidden in wonderful long green grass and the cattle are fat , sweet little calves running around everywhere. We will reopen in September, by then we hope everyone will feel safe to travel again.

17.01.2022 Here’s an update on the farm this Spring. Lots of baby calves being born, everywhere is lovely and green. The younger Border Collies, Meg, Biddie and Flory are starting to work well, natural workers. We are sad not to have our campers here due to Covid19 concerns. There is a possibility we may open the river site at least for Christmas, PM if interested and we will discuss where you are from and any risks associated. Meanwhile, keep well and enjoy life

10.01.2022 Finally getting over the cleanup from the bushfires here, now enjoying 4 1/2 inches of rain and still falling, fantastic! Here are some photos of the Rock Pools camp and falls, just beautiful and slowly recovering, hope to be able to take bookings for Easter for all camps. I think the drought at Birdwood is finally over
