16.01.2022 I believe this with all my being understood by my heart and by my knowledge of horses. The renewal of foster children that happens here at Beulah Ranch through Cowboys 4 Kids is nothing short of a miracle and we owe it all to these amazing beautiful gifts to our lives, the horse. They have served mankind with total surrender and at a lot of times in detriment to their own health mentally or physically. Here they are again serving mankind in the restoring of us mentally and ph...ysically. Those that work with traumatised children, teens or adults will attest to the fact that this environment, the giving out constantly effects us and at times unmeasured because of the need before us in the precious people we work with. In there lies the danger in not restoring ourselves so we can fight for the lost from always the strongest we can be. Over the 45+ years horses have been in my life training my first horse at 13yrs, rodeo, trainer and now a facilitator, at this moment I've never been more appreciative of my mates Lucky, Duke and Reno and in awe of what they bring me personally. When I'm overwhelmed by the pain of these young children we work with, I find myself in body and mind laying down in the paddock just me and my mates the horses, where they gather around me in support nurturing to my needs and restoring. 05.01.2022 Hi community of the Central Coast Cowboys 4 Kids charity at Beulah Ranch Yarramalong is in need of a 4wd dual cab ute. In our work with traumatised children wit...hin the foster care system we have our core Equine Therapy Program but also supporting that we have our Life Skills Program and part of this activity we need to transport the children up to the back of the property and also into the national park from Beulah Ranch. We need to be able to transport the children their carers plus day equipment with us, so a dual cab ute or aluminium tray is required. The vehicle doesn’t need to be registered but sound mechanically and safe for the children. A donated vehicle would be appreciated as we are not a funded charity, although we are able to supply a tax gift recipient receipt for the vehicle if so desired . Please help us help these precious kids experience restoration and wonderful character building activities. See more
